Profile Richard is an experienced agent of some 15 years and has a genuine enthusiasm for marketing property. He believes his passion and enthusiasm for quality marketing is evident in way all the properties he handles are represented. His primary area of operation is the beautiful Dandenong Ranges just east of Melbourne. However, he believes with advent of the internet it has blurred the old perceived limitations of area boundaries. “I believe with the radical changes the internet has had on our industry over the last decade, an agent skilled in marketing can now travel, providing he/she still completes their due diligence prior to listing the property. Primarily our role as an agent is to attract as many purchasers as possible to inspect the property we are marketing. Without attracting enough purchasers to a property how can we conclude that we have reached a true “market value”? The more people we have inspect, the better chance of finding that one person who absolutely “loves” the property? The only way to achieve this is through effective marketing. I believe our value as a “ fee for service” professional lies in our ability to be great marketers not just the traditional “sales people””. Richard is part of a family team at MRE and can boast being the oldest agency in the Dandenong Ranges area, still under the same ownership.
