Managing My Property Listing

  1. What are the numbers beside my properties?

LHA provides you with detailed information regarding your promotion investments. When a property is featured (A term used to encompass all the options for promotion) it puts an entry into a pool of properties. You can add any property into the pool as many times as you want to weight it heavier. This will increase the chances of it being displayed against its competitors, as each featured area is a random draw of properties out of the pool. No property will come up twice on one page load, but heavier weighted properties have a much better chance.

For example. If there are 3 unique properties in the pool, one has 2 entries and the other two have 1, and we are vying for a 2 spot position. The heavier weighted property (with 2 entries) will have a higher chance of being shown in one of the available positions.

The statistics against your property reflect this data, by showing you the property weight against all other entries (weight / total entries) and by the number of competitors (Property v Competitors). These numbers can be used to estimate the exposure of the property against others.

  2. I've uploaded my image, but its yellow and I can only delete it?

Images are subject to moderation from LHA. Until your image is approved it will appear yellow. You may remove it at this time if you have made a mistake. Once an image is approved it will turn green and you will be able to specify a hero image or featured image set.

  3. Can I Include House and Land Plans?

Without a doubt. Just include them in your property images. LHA recommends using the 4th featured image. (Featured Images are sorted by order of upload)

  4. How many images can I have on each property?

Up to 30 images per property each in JPEG/GIF/PNG format. Animated GIF's will not be animated on the site. LHA moderates all images assigned to every property for quality control, and recommends professional photographs of a high standard.

  5. But must I use professional Photos?

It is a good idea - However what the site requires is a sharp in focus photo if the photo is not up to the standard the site insists upon it will be rejected by quality control.

  6. Must the hero image be a photo of the outside of the home?

No - but it is a good idea to promote the property with a magazine style shot. The hero image is the first impression of this Luxury Home .
